I then visited the website of one of the groups referred to in the Times article (the unusual coalition...), which is here http://nisquallyriver.org/
It is an interesting example of a cross sector (tribal/private sector/local government/federal) watershed defined group cooperating on preservation and restoration of the resources in their watershed. Also, keeping an eye on adpting to climate related future local conditions.
