I am using this blog to post some of the information that I come across relevant to adaptation to rapid planetary climate change. Postings will also touch upon other aspects of sustainability in a rapidly changing world.
Nothing in it should be considered as the opinion, position, policy, belief or view of any of my employers or associates or clients or community partners or relatives or friends; past or present.
Climate Change Adaptation is defined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as "adjustment in natural or human systems in response to actual or expected climatic stimuli or their effects, which moderates harm or exploits beneficial opportunities."
Resilience is defined as "the capacity of a system to absorb disturbance and still retain its basic function and structure."
