This is the cover of the Whole Earth Catalog's successor, Coevolution Quarterly Spring 1976 issue dedicated to discussion of Gerard's ideas by the leading environmentalists and systems thinkers of the time.

One of the people that inspired me long ago, and inspired many others to deep systems ecology. 
The first parts of his 1977 book The High Frontier, encapsulated the ideas found later in the The Natural Step.
