A giant has passed

Ray Anderson passed away on Monday.

For those of us that have been in the sustainability thing for awhile, exspecially in LCA, industrial ecology and The Natural Step; he was often one of the first CEO's we met in the "old days" and a mentor & inspiration.

"Waste is anything that does not provide value to the customer."
